The winery and vineyards are located in the municipality of Codrongianos, Sardinia, a few kilometers from Sassari, the provincial capital.
The estate stretches over 20 hectares (approximately 49 acres), of which 6 hectares (14 acres) are vineyards, in the municipality of Codrongianos. Our vineyards are located on the hills of Logudoro, on calcareous-marl and sandy soils of Miocene origin, 300 meters above sea level.
This micro climate ensures healthy grapes and excellent ripening, and is characterized by salubrious breezes which reduce air humidity.
The cellar is equipped with French oak barrels, stainless steel tanks and glass-lined concrete tanks.
Traditional wine making techniques handed down from generation to generation have been successfully combined with technological innovation.
We grow grape varieties typical of the Logudoro area: Cannonau (40%), Vermentino (40%) and Moscato (10%). A few years ago we also planted an international variety, Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). We use the Guyot cultivation system for Moscato and Vermentino vines, and the spurred cordon method for black grapes.
Our entire product range is certified: grapes are harvested by hand and transported immediately to the winery, where they undergo quality checks in compliance with specifications for each appellation.
