Our wine making philosophy is based on careful vineyard management.
We are convinced that end product quality depends on the quality of grapes, that is why we pay special attention to every development phase.
Bearing in mind this belief, when the company was passed from one generation to the next, we introduced innovative production techniques, including the Simonit&Sirch Method. This method aims to ensure healthy and long-lasting vines by pruning them with care, in accordance with natural botanical characteristics.
Our production method also includes integrated pest control (National Action Plan) for a drastic reduction in the use of pesticides. The integrated pest control is a strategy that avoids plant damage caused by parasites through the use of methods which respect the environment and human health.
Moreover, our winery wants to give value to the native grapes of our local area (Cannonau, Vermentino and Moscato). New vineyards are planted with scions cut out of old vines planted over 40 years ago in our fields.
